Dell AX510 computer sound bar speaker - U/P series LCD displays

The sound bar consumes no desk space because it attaches at the bottom edge of your LCD display.  The volume control is on the right side. The left side features two headphone jacks. It is powered by the LCD display, so there are no ugly "wall wart" power transformers. The only other cable is the audio input, which is a standard 3.5mm cable. This will connect to virtually any PC, MP3 player, etc.

It produces audio that is entirely sufficient for sound effects, voice chat, presentations, and background music. Total power output is 10W. Dell sells this unit for $36.99 plus tax and shipping.

I purchased this sound bar a few years ago, to replace a large and loud PC audio speaker set, mainly so that I wouldn't wake my kids while gaming. I'm selling it because I purchased another speaker set that offers higher fidelity for music. This soundbar is in virtually perfect condition.

Please note that Dell sells several models of the AX510 soundbar. This model is only compatible with displays that feature a 12V DC power output connector, which should include all U (UltraSharp) and P (Professional) series displays. If you're not sure, you can:

  • check the connectors on the back/bottom of your display
  • go to www.dell.ca, and punch "3136412" into the search box; the product page contains a list of compatible displays
  • ask me for assistance
